Remembrance Day

Families signed up to the Headstart Cooking and Craft Project and those receiving a meal on a Thursday through the Treat and Chat Project in the next few weeks will be receiving black and red wool in their parcels and a pom pom template.

We need you to make us some pom poms!

We want as many black or poppy red poms poms made for the centre as possible as we aim to do something really special with them and then on Sunday 8th November, we will reveale what we have done to mark the day World War I ended, and how we will pay our respects to the people who have lost their lives due to war.

In addition we will also be sending out other crafts with a Remembrance Day theme for you to make at home and send into the centre. If you would also like to get involved please contact us!
